Rice straw

Widely available and abundant in many countries the by-product left after rice harvesting is rice straw which can be used to create strong and biodegradable packaging.

Rice straw has a low environmental impact as it is an agricultural byproduct, which would otherwise be burned or left to decompose, releasing carbon into the atmosphere.
