Oxo degradable/Oxo fragmentable

Materials and products that do not biodegrade. The underlying technology of oxo degradability or oxo fragmentation is based on special additives, which, if incorporated into standard resins, are purported to accelerate the fragmentation of products made thereof. Oxo degradable or oxo fragmentable materials do not meet accepted industry standards on compostability such as EN 13432.
